Before the Hunt

Here is the final version of the Mexican wolves, white charcoal on black Strathmore Artagain paper. Once the elephants are done (back to that one this weekend), I will be finished with the drawing part of getting ready for my exhibit this summer. All that will be left is a few more frames.

I really like all of your pictures but this one with the wolves I find extra interesting. I think because you did it with white charcoal on black which would be tough for me. It's like drawing in the negative which makes my brain slightly soupy. Thank you for sharing your work, nice blog!

I completely understand. It took me a long time to learn to draw white on black for just that reason, and I still have a lot of work to go before I'm comfortable with it.
